Five months down the road

Its been quite a while ... well since I'm stuck in the office, I might as well blog. Dont you think so?

Been playing in a few tournaments for the past few months. The last one was last saturday, played in Maybank Unity tournament. The one before that was before Ramadhan, but I didnt play because I was sick. The first one was in Monterez where I manage to get the second placing for Medal B category.

Last saturday, teeing off at 8 a.m, I was in the 6th flight together with Bud, 20 and Kamal, 12. I registered at 19. The course was a long one but the fairway was quite big, so no worries. Managed to burst 1 hole in the first 9 and 1 in the second 9. Got a triple bogey and a double bogey, aint that bad I guess. At the end of the day I was playing 2 under. Was looking forward for the prize giving ceremony ... and I think you know why lah kan. Bad was playing quite good and Kamal, well he was the pace setter in the flight.

When they announced the winners in Medal B category, I was suprised because my name was'nt mentioned. I told myself, well too bad, guess there are other players who played better than me that day. Started to chat with Bud when suddenly I heard my name being announced. Damn, they cut my handicap again!!! And now am playing in Medal A category. Well, manage to get 5th place in that category. Not bad aye. Bud didnt win anything and so do Kamal. We did'nt win the team event even, damn.

Now that am playing 18/17, it means i got to train harder if I want to enter the grand final. We'll see how it goes I guess.

Cheers
